Ciro Perez

Mr. Perez's multi-faceted 30-year career spans responsibilities as a senior executive at multi-national pharmaceutical companies, as well as CEO and Director of several expansion stage healthcare technology companies.

Having successfully managed healthcare businesses on five continents, Mr. Perez is well qualified to assist Crawford's U.S. portfolio companies with clinical trials, strategic alliances and business development efforts in Europe. As Partner-In-Charge of Crawford's European operations, Mr. Perez is active in evaluating promising European companies and in expanding Crawford's investor base.

Mr. Perez developed his expertise in finance, marketing and executive management, first at Parke Davis, then Miles Laboratories and finally at Oral-B Laboratories, where he managed all European operations. Participating with key management, Mr. Perez utilized his finance expertise to structure a management buy-out of an emerging growth Spanish pharmaceutical company, and was responsible for achieving a compounded growth rate of 40% over a seven-year period of time. Combining traditional healthcare operations with a new economy, proprietary, e-commerce business system, Mr. Perez established and successfully developed an innovative OTC products healthcare company poised to expand globally.

Mr. Perez received a Bachelors' degree in Economics from Madrid University, and has served as Professor and Director of ESEM, School of Marketing, also in Madrid. He has published several articles relating to economics, marketing and compensation within the pharmaceutical industry. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and proficient in Italian and French.
